Home Daycare Providers: Toot Your Own Horn Without Blowing It!

By: Allison

Whether you’re just starting out or have been in business for years, client testimonials are a proven way to communicate the value your home daycare service delivers.

When someone other than you makes a positive statement about your home daycare business, it carries far more weight than you saying… "I am sooo Awesome!" Lol

Not only do they build trust, credibility, & lessen doubts in the minds of your prospects, they don't cost you a thing.

Don’t fret if you don’t currently have client testimonials or they’re not pouring in as often as you’d like, just ask.

Simply let your clients know that you are developing new marketing materials and you would love to include their testimonial.

You'll be surprised at how eager clients are to toot your horn for you.

If you’re uncomfortable asking in person, you can always ask via a “Thank you for your continued business” letter, card or note, a small blurb in your next newsletter, or shoot them a quick email.

Once you get your testimonial ducks in a row, here are 11 creative ways to use them:

1.) Audio - Upload to website or blog.
2.) Blog - Dedicate a special page or sprinkle them throughout.
3.) Business Cards - Don't let this prime real estate go to waste.
4.) Brochures - Use as headline or sprinkle throughout.
5.) Flyers - Use as headline or just above phone # strips.
6.) Headline - Classified Ads (On-line & Off-line) & Flyers.
7.) Letterhead - Whatever works with your layout.
8.) Newsletter - Create a sense of community.
9.) Press Releases - Not only acceptable, but encouraged.
10.) Video - Audio is good, but video is even better!
11.) Website - Dedicate a special page or sprinkle them throughout.

Your mission this week… If you choose to accept it, is to get 3 testimonials from your list of current or past clients. Your choice.

The reward of collecting testimonials is always worth the effort.

Now get cracking grasshopper, and go leverage what you've got to get what you want!
